Don’t Count Me Out

Have you ever walked around looking like you had it all together on the outside? But in reality, there was a war going on on the inside. Causing you to lose sight of who you are and what you are to become. Yet you were smiling and laughing on the outside, trying to keep it all together because you have learned how to mask your pain so well for the sake of people until no one knew what you are going through.

But there comes a moment in your life when you get tired of trying to live up to the expectations of people. Because you’re the one that’s always trying to remain strong for others, but underneath those layers of emotions, that you have been so conditioned to cover up. The pressure of life gets real and your heart begins to cry out for someone to speak life to the person that you once were.

Because now you feel that you have lost the sense of who you are. There will be times in our lives when it appears that God has you in a hidden season. A season when no one sees the hurt in your eyes, stemming from the brokenness within. No one sees that you have lost your sense of purpose. So now, you’re walking around empty and simply existing because you have poured out into everyone else, longing for someone to pour back into you.

I want to encourage you to let you know that God sees you and he knows right where you are within this moment of your life and while the enemy has tried to count you out, God has counted you in. You have survived the tragedies in your life because “ Only The Strong Will Survive”. You’re still standing because there’s some FIGHT left in you.

The trials in your life were never designed to destroy you but to strengthen your faith. I truly believe that this platform will help you rediscover your sense of purpose. I have walked through some of the most difficult moments in my life and I could have not made it through those painful situations without God.

I was once empty just like some of you, but on this journey, I have learned that in order to get to the purpose, we have to walk through the doorway of pain. God desires for us to reach our greatest potential because He knows what He put in us.
